BBQ Pulled Pork

$22 1lb / fully cooked, frozen

When spending the day with your smoker isn't an option, we've got you covered with our ready-to-eat pulled pork. We've been working on this recipe since the early days of the Nashville butcher shop. Pasture-raised pork, perfectly seasoned with our signature blend before being slowly smoked over hickory - all you need to do is heat and serve.

This pork is the ultimate dinner cheat code. Pile it on a brioche bun for the backyard crowd. Spoon it into taco shells on a Tuesday. Crown a plate of nachos at halftime. Or maybe a loaded baked potato or a killer breakfast hash is more your style. You dream it, this pulled pork can do it. Serves 4-6.

Spice blend includes smoked salt, black pepper, white pepper, brown sugar, onion powder, sweet paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, chili powder, and dried bay leaf.

Our pulled pork is made with Whole Pork Butt. The Pork Butt is the top half of the shoulder, not the actual butt. Since it’s a very hard-working muscle it must be cooked low and slow. It got its name during the colonial days when butchers transported the meat in barrels called “butts,” the actual behind of the pig is where ham comes from.

We did the hard work so all you need to do is heat and eat! After thawing pork in the fridge, bring a pot of water to a simmer and place the sealed package of pork in the water bath. Simmer for 20-22 minutes until warmed through. Remove from the water, open the package and empty into a bowl. Fluff the pork with a fork and enjoy.
